Show Up + Get Inspired + Connect With Others at SheTalks YVR

On Saturday March 5th, the 2nd Annual SheTalks YVR returns to the Chandos Pattison Auditorium in celebration of International Women’s Day – and we are so thrilled to have partnered with them to help spread the word about this incredible event.
Over the course of the conference, you’ll hear from 16 inspirational women who are making a difference in the lives of others, as well as how they are making, working towards and shattering goals of their very own. As an attendee of this event last year, I can tell you from personal experience that this such a motivating + uplifting way to spend an afternoon. I walked away each segment with a broader understanding of the similarities (as well as differences) between the speakers sharing their stories and the audience of over 600 people there to learn. I couldn’t help but laugh, cry, get disheartened and inspired as we were taken on the incredible journeys through their trials and celebrations.
Not only did I take a ton of notes, I was able to connect with truly inspiring women that I would not have had the chance to otherwise. Women making a difference, but also still being so real in their interactions. Which is pretty much the coolest combination ever. Plus, lunch is included. Woohoo! We actually sat outside last year for a picnic because it was a beautiful sunny day – here’s to hoping it will be the same again this year too!
With speakers that range from a legally blind photographer, to a published Harvard trained psychiatrist who teaches how to balance parenting in an unbalanced world, and a retired veteran turned jewelry designer – you can be sure it will be a day filled with usable tricks and tips that will help keep you on track with your own goals + dreams. What’s even better? You’ll probably leave feeling a little more connected to those around you, which brings us all that much closer to the community and tribe that we all seem to be searching for.
